Online The Sirens / Mermaid Cake Topper Class

We are excited to announce the next online class. This time we are going to be creating The Sirens, I absolutely love mermaids so just couldn't resist creating more but this time a little more sinister 😉

The class is a pre-recorded online class that will be run through a private Facebook group. You will be able to watch it back as many times as you like (once we have uploaded the videos). 

During this class you will learn to create The Sirens Cake Topper in the style of mermaids. The Topper is same as that seen in the main image.

Important Note - Please note the actual Faces in this class are made using a Zoe’s Fancy Cakes Face Mould and were previously available as a YouTube tutorial. The Faces will not be taught free hand. If you do not have the mould you can purchase this here. If you are confident in the creation of your own face shapes then you can do this element free hand. If you have taken part in any of our earlier cake topper classes then you could also put your face making skills to good use here 😉

You will learn;

• To build and structure models using model paste
• To Apply basic internal structures and adapt Faces to suit
• How to add extra detailing using tools, paste and edible dust colours

The class is suitable for anyone with an interest in cake toppers and magical Mermaids 🧜🏻‍♀️ Beginners are welcome to join although it will be easier if you have created cake toppers previously or undertaken one of our other cake topper classes. 

How will the online class work?

The class will be run in a closed Facebook group that you will be able to join once you have paid. There will be a link in the documentation that will be emailed to you after your purchase, this link will take you to the Facebook Group. We will be looking to admit students into the group from the 1st September 2022 :) 

Make sure you keep a note of your order number as this is needed when joining the Facebook group. If for any reason you have any trouble please do drop us a message.

Do I make my cake toppers at the same time as Zoe?
The videos are pre-recorded. It is advised that you watch the online tutorial first then watch it again whilst making your cake toppers.  

Is the video mine to keep once purchased?
You can always go back and watch the tutorials at any point after the live video is over, but you will need internet access to view it. The video is not to be downloaded or shared with other people.

How will I know what I will need to create the Sirens?
Once purchased you will be able to join the private facebook group, here you will have access to equipment lists and the tutorial videos.

We would always advise watching the Class first before deciding which materials and equipment you will need.

Can I teach others this once I've purchased the online tutorial?
No, the class is just for you to use create your own cakes. You should not re-teach them to your own students or share the video tutorial with others.

How do I access the facebook group to see the classes?
Once purchased you will be emailed a downloadable document which will contain a link to a private facebook group, you will need to use your order number to answer the questions when requesting to join this group. We will then accept you into the group. Please note it may not be immediately as it needs to be done by one of us in person, so it can take us up to a day to approve and accept your membership into the group.
